Job Description

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our R&D team and take full ownership of our automation strategy and implementation, which runs across multiple services in our multitenant AWS infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automation tests, as well as developing and maintaining our test framework. We're looking for someone to serve as the go-to expert in test writing, coverage strategy, and test quality. You’ll drive initiatives to scale our testing infrastructure, optimize CI processes, and ensure high-quality, reliable releases across our product stack.

Responsibilities

• Own the automation testing lifecycle across all levels – unit, integration, component, UI, E2E, performance, and API testing.
• Collaborate closely with both QA and development teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and seamless integration of test coverage into the development lifecycle.
• Define and drive context-based testing strategies to ensure our tests are relevant, focused, and stable.
• Monitor and improve test coverage and testing metrics
• Continuously optimize CI pipelines (CircleCI, GitHub Actions), improving test execution performance and managing testing costs.
• Mentor and support developers in writing effective, maintainable tests — with a strong focus on RSpec and best practices — while leading forward to modern automation methodologies, tools, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years) in developing automation tests across the full testing stack: unit to E2E, performance, UI, API
• Strong understanding of web technologies ( HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs, browser dev tools
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD systems such as CircleCI and GitHub Actions, including test parallelization and performance optimization
• Familiarity with Performance testing
